The Special Work Permit (SWP) in the Philippines is a short-term, 3-6 month permit for tourist visa holders engaging in temporary work (consultants, performers). The Provisional Work Permit (PWP) allows foreigners to work for up to one year while their 9(g) long-term working visa is pending. Both are issued by the Bureau of Immigration.
